When you think of all-wheel drive options in the new Dodge lineup, the Charger probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Well, believe it or not, that option does exist, and is just one of many incarnations the vehicle has been through over the years.
Known officially as the Charger AWD Sport Package, it includes plenty of upgrades like a gloss black grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, sport seats, paddle shifters, and an upgraded eight-speed automatic transmission. You also have the option between the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V-8.
Either way, fun awaits in this enhanced edition of the Charger.
Like we said before, there have been plenty of platforms for the Charger throughout Dodge history. The name might be the same, but the looks are totally different generation to generation. In the past, the Charger has been a subcompact hatchback, a full-size sedan, and a luxury coupe, each offering a unique option to drivers just as the high-octane muscle car currently does.
