On any other day, we here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Twin Falls would be hard-pressed to think about all the things we have in common with our fellow Americans down in Texas. Sure, we love barbecue just as much as the next person, but something tells us it's just a different way of life down there.
Then again, now that we've discovered how much Texans love themselves a quality Jeep vehicle, we're suddenly starting to feel like kindred spirits.
Just recently, the winners of the 21st annual Texas Truck Rodeo were announced. For those unfamiliar, it was an event put on by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) and it was a celebration of the model-year trucks that best met the needs of drivers in the Lone Star State. In order to determine which four-wheelers were better than the rest, they put each qualified candidate through a two-day evaluation process until a final 15 were chosen.
When all was said and done, four of our Jeep models drove off with five different awards. So without further ado, we present you with this year's victors:
