It should go without saying, but the safety of our drivers has always been a top priority for us here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Twin Falls. Lucky for everyone, industry-leading safety just comes with these new and used cars of ours. But with many of us here being parents of young children, it's only natural that we'd want that same kind of safety for our kids when they're at school. Well in an effort to put our worried minds at ease, our favorite automaker is rising to the occasion.
Though it might not be front-page news like it was in recent years, bullying is still very much a problem that's affecting our youth today. With that in mind, the brass at Chrysler announced that they would be continuing their support of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights' bullying prevention initiative.
More specifically, they're partnering with RFK Project SEATBELT to launch a social media campaign that includes an online "pledge" encouraging students to prevent bullying in their communities. As for why Chrysler is so invested in the cause, it's all about that commitment to safety.
"The Chrysler brand is committed to using its resources to help build strong and safe communities, and that includes education about bullying prevention," says Saad Chehab, President and CEO of Chrysler. "As the Chrysler Group LLC marks the 30th anniversary of our minivan and our 'Drive for Kids' continues through this fall with our [2014 Chrysler Town & Country], we wanted to utilize that program to both support and foster conversation about this important issue."1
So if you'd like to learn more about how Chrysler is working to keep your community safe, we'd be happy to fill you in at our dealership here in Twin Falls, ID. Or if you'd like to learn more about the safety standards of our lineup, the experts in our car parts department await you.
