Recently, RAM rolled out a pair of special-edition RAM 1500 trucks into the LA Auto Show recently, giving show attendees a preview of the 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand and 1500 Ignition Orange Sport trucks that will be available in 2017.
The RAM 1500 Rebel Mojave Sand package presents a more subdued Rebel, with a new, muted color and black decals on the hood. Inside, there are black anodized touches on the doors, instrument panel, console and gauge trim ring, as well as all-black seats and gray contrast stitching. Only 1,500 of this special edition 1500 Rebel package will be produced in either two-wheel or four-wheel drive.
The RAM 1500 Ignition Orange Sport might draw a little more attention at first. Reviving a previous limited-edition truck, RAM did this bad boy up in a zesty orange paint and body-color grille surround, with black hood decals and badges adding a dash of sobriety. The theme continues on the inside, with “Copperhead” accent stitching, orange trim and seat panels, as well as orange ram’s-head logos on the headrests. RAM also plans to build only 1,500 of this package, which is available only for the Crew Cab V8 model.
