Diesel Performance
Used Ram 2500 trucks are available with a 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel that produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque, sending power through a six-speed automatic transmission that's tuned for low-end response and optimized gear ratios that reduce noise, vibration, and harshness. And if you're looking to tackle long-distance driving or skip fuel stops, the Ram 2500 is available with a 50-gallon fuel tank capacity in Tradesman® Crew Cab models. Newer Cummins®-equipped models offer a recommended oil change interval of every 15,000 miles or 12 months to help you minimize downtime and get back to business.
Diesel Capability
Modern Ram 2500 trucks come equipped with a factory-installed rear-axle structural cross member that integrates mounting hardware for fifth-wheel and gooseneck towing, offering a maximum diesel towing capacity of up to 19,990 pounds with the 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel. In addition, the Ram 2500 delivers up to 3,150 pounds of diesel payload capacity. Plus, used Ram 2500 trucks are available in trail-ready trims that the Ram 3500 doesn't offer, including the Ram 2500 Rebel® with 11.1 inches of ground clearance, locking differentials, and an electronic-disconnecting front sway bar for added articulation.
