Motor Trend has recently reviewed the new Jeep Cherokee and came away quite impressed! The stylish new crossover with powerful engine choices, cool paint options, and a robust 3.2-liter V6 engine had the expert reviewers calling the 2016 Cherokee “The crossover that actually drives like an SUV”.

The 2016 Jeep Cherokee wears Jeep’s Trail Rated badge, which signifies it’s impressive off-road capability. Independent front and rear suspensions and a high-strength steel construction add up to superior handling and a more fun-to-drive experience.

Jeep Fest is a parade scheduled for Toledo later this year, and almost every model will be on display. The festival is taking place to honor the 75th anniversary of the Jeep brand, which earned its first contract in 1941 to build vehicles for the American military. Event planners have successfully booked every model except for the 1956 and 1957 Jeeps, but are hoping to have those slots filled by then.

A one-off model of the 2016 Wrangler was also produced at the company’s Toledo, Ohio facility and will be on display at the event.

This past year the Jeep brand celebrated its 75th anniversary, which also happened to coincide with the 50th Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT. In celebration of both milestones, Jeep got special permission to tackle the legendary Lion’s Back rock obstacle, which has been officially closed to the public since 2004. It’s a daring feat, but the Jeep drivers arrived well prepared with three specially tuned Jeep brand vehicles capable of standing up to the challenge.
